I  can't really think of anything to write about today. Shocking, I know. Actually, I have a few things that I want to write about but they're always on set days(Cruise Critic is one of them and I do have some thoughts on things that have been going on there but they'll have to wait until Saturday.

OK..the dog show was on tonight and a beagle won Best in Show. And people were actually happy about it. I was pleased to not see *too much* wank about it. In past years I have seen a lot of people online be butt hurt because their breed of dog didn't win. Really?That is what you're going to be upset about? The dogs are judged on a lot of things, but their popularity is,in the scheme of things, pretty low on the judges' list of considerations on who wins Best In Show!

Let's see, what else? I have been thinking about doing a book post..I am up to 5 books so far this year..I am hoping to get to 50 by the end of the year, and it looks like I will.Last year I made it to 50 books in plenty of time, and actually wound up reading 52 books which is pretty impressive.

I have something I've been working on..it's coming along, I hope!

My new thing: decorating. I got a resin deer head for my birthday which is going to hang up in my computer room. I also got an art print which is also going to be hanging up in the computer room, right above my recliner. It's kinda fun to change things up and add new things every once in a while, you know? I did that with my bedroom at my parents' house-I simplified a lot of things, got a new bed, new bedding, got rid of most of the pillows(the amount of pillows in my room was starting to get to hoarding level. The older I get, the less time I have for clutter. I make myself  throw stuff out every so often. I've seen enough episodes of Hoarders to know that's something I don't want to do!

This post kinda served as a random stuff/blog housekeeping/in the news/odds and ends post!
