*Bashing large groups who book cruises is the new thing.People don't like being "inconvenienced" by the groups when they take over the Crow's Nest or what have you.
Apparently PCC(Personal Cruise Consultants) have not been telling people when there is a large group on their cruise. Squeaky wheel gets the grease..that sort of information is easy to find-you can even find it on Cruise Critic. So I call a little bit of bullshit on that. Try to go with the flow a little more.
Yes, you wanted a set dining time but the big group is messing with that.Adjust.The world will not end if you have Anytime Dining for *one* cruise.
*More reports of issues on various ships.The Rotterdam is looking very worn,according to several people who have cruised on her recently.And there are the usual problems with A/C, non-functioning toilets, etc.The same old same old.
Of course the HAL cheerleaders try to handwave it away.Fortunately there are always a few voices of reason who point out how ridiculousthe comments about non-working toilets are are met with "bring a Ziploc bag"/"Use the public toilets".
I don't even know what to say about the first comment. I wish I could say I was joking about that but I'm not.
As for the second..that's completely impractical, *and* sometimes the public toilets onboard the ship don't work either. Add to that the average age of a HAL cruiser..and all the..health problems that come with that. I noticed that they sell Depends on HAL cruises.So HAL knows perfectly well that their customer base skews older.
