[Still digging Dig]

In this week's episode, we found out a little bit more about each element of the story;Jason Isaac's character's daughter was

killed, but we still don't know why,just that it was very tragic.But I have a feeling that his daughter, and Emma,the archeologist who died(who is,apparently a doppleganger of his daughter) factor in more than we think-everything is seemingly interconnected;

Debbie and Josh(the would -be Messiah) and Faye, one of the people from the cult in New Mexico, take a field trip that goes more than a little bit wrong. Debbie is able to subdue(beat up) Faye and flags down a police officer.They go to the station, only for the leader of the cult, Billingham, to come pick them up. Josh says "I told you she would fail". Kinda predictable that the cop would be a member of the cult/associated with the cult but the show is so good otherwise I'm willing to ignore it.)

I would have liked some expansion on that-if Josh knows that Debbie is going to try and make a run for it,then why would be go with her? Plot twist I'd like to see: Josh is not, in fact the Messiah but actually the Antichrist.That'd show the cult members who've been grooming him to be a Messiah(and will do anything-and I do mean anything-to make that happen.)

We also get a glimpse of Debbie's past when she sneaks away and calls someone(a brother? ex boyfriend?) who asks if she's been using again.So it would seem that Debbie may have come to the cult(or they found her) at a point in her life when she was very vulnerable. But seeing what she's seen, she doesn't want any part of it, and wants to get Josh away from it, in fact.

The number 19 plays a big part in this episode;it leads Peter to a Jewish heritage museum where he sees a page from Numbers-Numbers Chapter 19 to be exact-about sacrificing a red heifer. The museum is not all it seems, though,it is a front for a doomsday cult.)

So it seems that that particular piece of the puzzle is going to come together;whether it does in the next episode or if it takes a few more, who knows?

The red heifer(whom Avram,its guardian calls-big surprise-Red)is on its way to Israel.Avram is going to do anything he can to keep the little calf safe..but is he truly safe, or is he  going to be sacrificed? TBH I'm a little worried for Red.
